I saw that on CuteOverload! How cool is that!
I think it's funny that the knitter did it on a whim, and suddenly it's turned into a huge thing. Just goes to show how something seemingly small and insignificant (if funny and cute) can become an international movement. The knitter's site indicated that other people would be following suit and knitting sweaters for other trees. I gotta admit, the tree in my front yard would look dashing in a crew neck pullover!
